These can be used for several different occasions. I bought them in black thinking that they will match other costumes that I have or may get. My sister-in-law got them in white. We both liked them. I have thick legs. I bought the larger full size that I wear, and I a am glad that I did. They were rather tight, but were not uncomforatable.
