The size of this is a mens large. We are adding a strip of black velvet to the side seams to make it more comfortable for an x-large. The back is purple light-weight velvet like the diamonds. The gold is lamé on top of the green light-weight velvet. The closures are light-weight velcro under the fake buttons. Not sure why they don't say those in the actual discription! The quality seems to be good, though all the edges are only serger-sewn, which gives it a cheep look.
