I am a 72 year old women who believes very strongly in the benefits of Humor Therapy. One of the three characters I prepared for this halloween was a witch. In the past I have never worn a scarey costume in any way or at any time. But the older group of people I like to entertain are so used to me being a clown, that I decided to shock them. The broom was perfect for the character.

This is a cute accessory for a child's witch costume, but it is poorly constructed and not very durable. However, because of its low price, I do not regret purchasing it as a fun, one-use item.

I bought this to go with a witch's costume for Halloween. It has not been used yet, but is being kept in a bag as it shed all over when it was unpacked and had an odd odor. Consequently, this would not be a good choice for younger chidren or for creative play. I'm hoping that once it is carried around a bit outside, the above problems will resolve themselves.

Especially for the low price, this broom looks great in person, and is a realistic, traditional, old-fashioned looking witch's broom.
