My son wore this to a Pirate Party and was the hit of the party. He will also be using for Halloween. It is light weight but that was great for us since the party was in the summer, not sure how will be by Halloween, but is big enough to wear something under it. My son has a big head and the hat was still too big, I sewed up a little on each side for it to fit better. Overall, for the price was a great buy.
