My 5 year old son was Little Boy Blue in the school play - the costume was perfect. We added a trumpet and homemade buckles to his crocs to complete the look. I also adjusted the velcro on the neckerchief because it wasn't aligned correctly. All the fastenings are velcro which is easy, but since the costume is 100% polyester it may not last long. On the plus side, the outfit is lightweight and not too hot for a school performance. The washing instructions say hand wash cold.

Good costume for the price and will be perfect for his school colonial days. Hat is felt, doesn't hold it's shape and doesn't fit on his head (has an average size head). I'm going to try to bobby pin it.

Bought for grandson who has a very keen interest in American History, especially the Civil and Revolutionary War. He loves to dress for the period when he plays or gives short presentations. I bought this costume for my son to wear to school on "Colonial Day" and he was looking forward to wearing it until he saw the hat that came with it. It's made out of a very floppy foam or felt fabric and would not hold it's shape or even stay on. With a little work we were able to get a few photos that looked good but forget about trying to wear the most defining part of the costume, the hat.

I ordered this costume for a school play. It was used for one of the boys in the Disney's Cinderella, Jr. It worked perfect for the show and looked great on stage. What's nice is that it will be able to be used again. It's made so that other kids a bit smaller or larger will be able to use the costume again for another show.
