11 month old son just attended a Halloween Party at his school on 10.20.12. His classmates admired his costume and were enchanted with the shield and mainly the sword that I also ordered [Just surprised that the tag of the sword said 14 years + ]. Since last year I got a "Lancelot" costume for 6 years old and it ended being too tight; this year I ordered the 8-10 size, so I had to fix the long of the sleeves of the shirt, but it was simple. Instead of the pants of the costume he wore a set of new black cotton jeans. The original pants are similar to the ones used in baseball, a little under the knees, and I did not want him to have any problem at the dancing time. He was delighted with his costume and jumped and danced with his friends. We will attend the PA Lancaster Renaissance Fair this next week and also the trick or treat night at the end of the month, and of course he wants to use his knight costume once again.

We (my son, husband, and I) all loved the costume. It was well made with durable fabric. The detail was great. My son is 4 1/2 and we ordered a small which says it fits a size 6. My son doesn't wear a size 6. We ordered larger to be safe and I'm glad we did! I fit perfectly except for the belt. The belt was way too big. Nothing a hole punch couldn't fix. However, the crest on the front was so big that if we had put the belt on it would have covered up the bottom. I can tell that the crest is the same size as on the larger costumes. If it was proportional it would have been fine. It has a zipper in the back instead of velcro which I LOVE. The cape is attached which is nice to prevent loss. Overall we love the costume and the cons listed are minor. I was given the costume free of charge in exchange for a review.

Tunic too short for size. Small should fit as a 6 but my four year old child had to wear it without the belt as the red front decoration sat right below the waist line. The sleeves were 5 inches short and I had to make new ones. The pants were usable as they hide under the boot covers. Also the coat of armor is cheap looking compare to the pictures.

It was a great costume but the leggings fit odd, they weren't long enough to stay in the tops of the shin pieces. Other than that it was really cute.
