This costume was your standard stretchy fabric with velcro closure. I had two main complaints. One, the design was only on the front; the back was plain maroon. I could live with that but I was particularly disappointed by the cheap plastic face mask. It was way too large for my five year old, and I am afraid it will break and hurt him while he is playing in it. We bought a Wolverine costume earlier and it had a cloth hood that matched the costume. A similar hood would have made this cosutme fit better and be more durable. As it is, I was underwhelmed.
