Deluxe Shepherd Costume Child

The lowly shepherd is the one of the most important figures in the story of Jesus and is talked about a lot around the holiday season. This is why this wonderful costume is one of the most popular around this time of year. The lovely shepherd costume includes a full length, striped blue, grey and black robe and co-ordinating head garment. This is worn over the top of a long, white tunic and is tied with a thin, rope belt. Add your own brown Roman sandals and tall, wooden crook to complete this outfit. If you want to look more authentic you should add a full, long beard and long wig. This is one of the more relevant Holiday outfits but it works well at Halloween and is a must for the school production wardrobe. My 7 year old son wore this costume to church for Trunk or Treat (Halloween). He had several people say he had the best looking costume. It really is a great looking costume. It does not look cheap at all. The only "bad" thing is that the material is itchy. Since we live in Florida, you never know what the temperature that time of year will be when deciding what costume to select. If it's cold, you can wear a shirt underneath. It was 85 and extremely muggy so I had to make a deal with my son to keep it on. But, I would still recommend this costume. Also, I would recommend Costume SuperCenter to everyone I know. [...]
