Let's Learn the Letters of the Alphabet

imgalt,itemname

While the letters of the alphabet seem very basic, learning them has a significant impact on children’s language development because they serve as building blocks for a child’s learning of language. Learning the alphabet can begin at home, rather than waiting until the child has entered school. Parents can teach their children by playing alphabet games, doing activities revolving around the alphabet, and by reading to their children. When a child becomes familiar with the alphabet early on, it enables that child to develop their literacy skills at a younger age as well, so that they may become able readers and better spellers.
