The Pirates Cove

Pirates have a sort of romantic air about them that’s making them very popular nowadays. Swayed by the wildly successful Pirates of the Caribbean, people imagine pirates to be these charming men sailing the high seas, searching for buried treasure, sweeping women off their feet, and fighting sea monsters. In truth, most pirates were far from charming. In fact, they were quite ruthless. When they weren’t attacking helpless merchant ships, they had to battle diseases or some other problems.
