Superman was created in 1932 by two high school boys named Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. The two first pitched the idea of Superman to publishers in 1933, but the character was rejected. In June of 1938, Superman first appeared in Action Comics. Before this, Superman was one of several features in the National Periodical Publications comic book. Superman is the first comic book hero to have super-human powers. Among other powers, Superman leaps tall buildings, bounces bullets off of his chest, and rips steel doors off their hinges.
It was not until Clark Kent's late teens and early twenties that he mastered his superpowers. His adoptive parents taught him the responsibility of having such powers and how to use them wisely. He protected for the right of humanity and believed everyone had some good in them. No other superhero carries that trait. He is one of the most human superhero's ever. Only few people knew the true identity of Superman
One of Superman's biggest trait is having a 19 th century western protegé . In the early days, Superman had a combative and rough personality. Since then, writers have lightened up on the violence making Superman have a boy scout persona. Superman is now a man with incredible feeling. Another trait that Superman has a difficult time establishing a good relationship with a woman. He and Lois Lane always had their set of love issues.
Superman is a hero in the comics, but he also has other merchandise. You can find Superman video games, hats, shirts, action figures, and many more collectible items. There is also a Superman ride at some amusement parks. Superman ice cream is a favorite to many children. Superman will always be The Man of Steel. He will be remembered as being faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, and able to leap tall buildings in a single bound.
