My child is six years old, and I ordered a small (6-8) because she's tall. This skirt is gigantic. I could wear this skirt and I'm 42. I can't imagine what 6 to 8 year olds could fit this thing with out safety pinning it to death. Over all a big disappointment.

I purchased this skirt for my 7-year-old daughter to wear to a 50s themed father/daughter dance. She looked adorable and had a ball. She has mostly outgrown the dress-up phase, but she still puts on her poodle skirt just for fun every chance she gets. My only regret is that it is not washable. Other than that, a GREAT product.
