My 4 year old daughter will be wearing the size 3/4 Queen of Hearts costume for an Alice in Wonderland birthday theme party we are hosting (the rest of us are donning themed costumes, too). The dress, itself, is a stunning vibrant red with beautiful details. My daughter feels like a queen wearing it. The skirt of the dress poufs out just like a majestic queen would wear. It appears to be comfortable since she was playing happily while wearing it. VERY pleased with the dress...the crown; however, is a different story. I pulled it out of the wrapper and tried to straighten it since it was squished from it's cramped quarters. It is a gold piece of material (very obviously) glued to a thin black headband with a single red heart jewel glued to the brim. Half the crown came loose as I was carefully trying to take the crease out of it. The jewel popped off very easily, too. We are a household of young girls and have tons of princess crowns which will do the trick. The dress is almost worth the money spent on the costume...the crown is an UTTER disappointment.
