This costume is well worth spending a little more on, but hey, I'm a doting grandmother of a gorgeous almost three year old :) The purple fabric is a lush high quality velvet, and the gold lame inset and faux fur collar are equally nice. The tulle skirt isn't scratchy, and the innermost pieces are of a very nice soft version of the material. Two little nude colored straps hold the neckline in place under the collar, demonstrating the attention to fine detail. I first saw A Wish Come True costumes in a children's boutique, and I was immediately sold on the extremely high quality of the costumes. Every costume from this maker is equally beautiful!
