Honestly (as a Dad), it seemed like this costume was simply a plain white dress with a wig. We mainly bought it for the wig, but the wig was too small on our 12 year old daughter. However, both daughter and wife liked it, even when she couldn't wear the wig.

My 4-year-old daughter loves this costume. We may have to hem the costume as it gets closer to Halloween, but it's OK for now. The wig makes the girl look like the real Princess Leia. After a few minutes, the wig does make her head itch a little, so we have to take it off.
