Served its purpose. I purchased this hat to go with my Brass Knuckles Betty Halloween Gangster costume, the fit was a bit snug, not that I have a big head, I think it was just made that way. But you don't have to wear it far down, just down enough that it won't fly off your head. With that in mind, it served its purpose plus looks really cute with the right costume/outfit.
