I ordered this for my 2 1/2 yr old son. My size options to choose from were S, M, L - Large stating it fit 2T-4T. My son is average for his age, maybe slightly taller. Based on the "size chart" the Large should have fit him well, if anything, maybe a bit big. When I received it and tried it on him, the inseam was extremely short. The costume fit perfectly everywhere else with exception of the crotch area. I can't imagine how awkward and small this would be on a 3 or 4 yr old child.
