I am 5'10" 165 and wear a 38R so I ordered a small. I could easily wear a teen as the coat is HUGE on me and needs to be drastically altered. I would say a small is more like a 42-44R. Besides size, the suit is very nice for the price....so, get the right size and you will love it.
