was looking for a good quality garment. (Don't you just hate when you buy something to find out it is chintzy?!) If you're a large chested woman like myself and do not want to show off too much cleavage you may need to purchase a cami to wear underneath. The skirt was not too short, and the hat fit well on my head. The belt was very costume like, not great quality, I paired it with a wide black patent leather belt I already had and duct taped a "CLUE" case on the side that served as my purse for the night. I also invested in a "Sherlock" type plastic pipe and had a lot of fun. One thing you may not be able to tell in the pictures, the sides are black micro dot sequin fabric. Another genuine idea: When I wasn't wearing the hat, someone thought I was Super Nanny from the TV Reality Series... Add a "Super Nanny" name tag and maybe a clipboard or something and it's a whole new costume! I wear a 12-14 dress size and comfortably wore an X-Large.

Cute costume, hard to see that there are sequins on the black side of the costume. Belt sat in a weird place on me, the costume fit fine but the belt came undone everytime i sat down. Skirt great length and one of the few costumes i have found made out of real material.
