I used this costume on stage for 5 nights as I played Queen Gertrude in the play Hamlet. I got plenty of compliments even though it was not the time period style. I felt the bands on the arms were too tight and slightly cut of circulation so I let out a few stiches of the seem and it stretched out enough to be comforatble. Te body was very flattering and the material tough a soft crush velvet, it was thin and breathable. Deffinately worth the money spent. I will use you guys again. Thank you.

Whoever sewed my costume got the nap of the velvet turned around and half the front ran down and the other ran up making it two shades of purple and giving it a "harlequin" look. It was embarrassing, but I wore it anyway. Too late to do anything about it. I also altered the sleeves by shortening the "long" end a little making it easier to wear. Otherwise the sleeve tips kind of fall into everything you touch.

I love this costume it fit great. I'm a size 18 and have trouble finding costumes, but this one fit perfect. The fabric is a crushed velvet. The dress is simple but I got lots of complimants. I put a long cape over it in a green velvet and was comfy all night long.

AMAZING! Not only did it fit, it was real material, not the fake velvet that rips if you catch it on a corner. It is thick enough to be warm, but not that you will be hot. There is a zipper in the back instead of velcroe. Blown away impressed!
