Womans Plus Size First Mate Pirate Costume

Take to the high seas this Halloween in our Plus Size First Mate Pirate Costume for women. The white knit top comes with long sleeves and a gold ruffle neckline. The midsection of the costume is covered by a red corset. This corset features an ornate black print and a gold string lace-up enclosure in the front in keeping with pirate style. The waist sash comes in satin and can be tied to either side depending on personal taste. The fabric used is a soft knit material in a black and red striped pattern. The baggy black pants are cut extra loose in the leg to create a fluffy appearance more akin to that of a real pirate. These pants tuck nicely into a pair of boots which you can purchase separately. The red velvet head wrap completes the costume and makes this one of our most detailed pirate ensembles for the money.

This is a very comfortable costume and very affordable. I used it as a standby costume. Not so great was the bandana/hat that came with it. It is NOT the same as pictured, not even close! Color was wrong, design was wrong and differed from pic, elastic was stretched out. (no elasticity) The headpiece was unusuable.

This was good costume it just had some minor things wrong. First the sash around the waist in the picture is not a sash, its two pieces of material sewed to the sides of the costume and on mine they were sewn on backwards. I just cut them off and bought some material from the fabric store.Second the material for the head band was nothing like in the picture and it did not match the pattern on the waist of the costume as it does in the picture. Again I just used some material from the fabric store that matched.Overall it's a good costume I just hate having to spend [$] and then spend more to make it right.
