I am biased because I am a sewer/quilter and my expectations are mostlikely outside of the norm. It was bothersome to me that the costumelooked like it was made of a paper-product, ie: tyvek. I think the designis clever, but not believable as a real item from the 50's. I haveregretfully decided to make my own 50's dress, the traditional approach.[*]
