black mylar type material for the 'animal print'. The velour was very comfortable with a lot of stretch so I can see how it was labeled as fitting up to a size 14/16. (I'm a size 6 pant, 12/14 dress) However, I'm top heavy (34D) and it didn't leave me enough covering for on top (I'm modest but not matronly). I gave it to a friend of mine to wear and she wore a black long sleeved shirt underneath and looked great. I highly recommend this outfit. My friend received a lot of compliments on it and she said it was fun to wear. The pants are cut very long which was great for her as she stands 5'8" without heels.
