I purchased this costume for a Halloween Party this coming October 2011. My children are inviting friends and I wanted something that was not so revealing or sexy. The belt is embroidered like the picture but the cape is not embroidered. It is painted on. I am 5'2" and will have to hem it a few inches and take up the shoulder hems to make it fit better. I ordered a large as I am in between a 10 and 12. The fit is just right other than mention earlier. It is a well made costume; I say this because I am a sewer and make lots of my own costumes. I will use this costume again at a Renaissance festival. The costume arrived in a nice garment bag and hanger. That is a plus.
