I searched all over the internet for the Marilyn Monroe white halter dress as seen in the "Seven Year Itch" movie. This one was the only one with the pleated skirt that was less than $30. It was very true-to-size. I ordered the XL and I'm a 12/14 and it fit perfectly. You will need a white halter bra to wear underneath. The skirt is a little see-through, but Marilyn showed her undies in her dress so who cares? I "doctored" up the dress by using 1/2" white satin ribbon and creating a criss-cross design around the mid-section as Marilyn's dress had this effect. I also bought small clear rhinestones and glued them about every 1" along the neckline and on the ribbon and this gave the dress some extra bling. Buy white satin gloves and wear a big rhinestone bracelet, necklace and earrings for that over the top Marilyn costume :)

I used this as a Halloween costume. The dress is very low cut in the front, so be prepared to wear a tank underneath if you are trick-or-treating with young children. The dress is good quality and true to size. All in all, I was impressed with the dress and would order from this site again.
