Children's Book Character Cosplays

Nothing beats curling up with a good book. It’s a great way to chill out and escape the real world for a few hours. Reading allows you to travel to faraway lands to meet some cool characters and experience awesomely epic adventures. No matter how young or old we may be, there are stories that we all cherish. As we get older, there’s a sense of responsibility to both pass down and keep the stories of our youth alive.

Characters come in all shapes and sizes. Some live on our TV or movie screens while so many others live within the pages of our favorite books. If we’re lucky, we get to watch our favorite literary characters come to life in a TV show or movie of their own.

No matter who your favorite character might be, it’s always fun to bring them to life for Halloween or a convention. Reading their stories is fun, but dressing up as these iconic characters is another way to make sure their stories are told for centuries to come. Here are some awesome literary character cosplays from childhood books to inspire your own costumes this Halloween or comic con!
