It’s no secret that Disney’s latest live-action remake of Cinderella was a huge hit in theaters. And it’s not just because little girls (and grown women) all over the world have fallen in love with the classic Disney princess — it may very well be because of the film’s awe-inspiring costumes.
This Halloween, these brand new villain costumes from the movie might just inspire you to channel your evil stepmother or stepsister as you show up to the party in the gorgeous gown worn by Anastasia, Drizella, or, of course, Lady Tremaine.
The women’s Anastasia Deluxe Costume is based on the outfit the spoiled stepsister wears in her vain attempts to win the heart of Print Kit at the Royal Ball. The costume features a vibrant pink tea-length dress that’s patterned with roses and other colorful floral designs in black, blue, yellow, and purple. The form-fitting bodice is adorned with tulle flowers in blue, yellow, and pink to match the flowers throughout the top and flared skirt.
Drizella may be known for her jealousy, but you’ll be the envy of the party when you show up in this colorful costume. The Drizella costume is a two-toned blue and green dress with spaghetti straps. The pink and yellow flowers on the bodice match the floral pattern all throughout the gown. Multicolored roses in black, blue, yellow, purple, and pink adorn the neckline of the flared, tea-length dress.
She may technically be a villain, but it’s impossible to deny that Lady Tremaine’s wardrobe in the live-action Cinderella remake is stunning. And this Halloween, you can be just as stunning as the Wicked Stepmother. The Lady Tremaine costume is inspired by the dress she wears to the Royal Ball as she hopes to marry off one of her daughters to the prince. The green floor-length gown is made with a two-toned iridescent fabric, which will make it appear as though your dress is changing color as you walk. The gown features a high collar that wraps around the shoulders and leads to a section of pleated fabric that folds back down into the pencil skirt. But what’s most unique about this costume is the train — from the waist down, a formal train lined with red makes this costume just that much more fabulous.
