Last weekend, the historic streets of Philadelphia were taken over by droves of cosplayers, comic enthusiasts, gamers and fans. It’s safe to say this is exactly what the Founding Fathers had in mind when they signed their names to the Declaration of Independence. Keystone Comic Con in Philadephia, PA got the Costume SuperCenter team excited for the rest of the convention season. We hit the convention floor on the prowl for some of the best cosplays we could find this weekend. From Marvel and DC to wrestling and video games, there were so many different looks to choose from.
Check out our video recap from Saturday at Keystone Comic Con!
That was only one look at the fun. Here are some of the pictures the team snapped throughout the day!
First @inkycap had to get sorted. Congrats on being placed into the Gryffindor House! Thank you @tgtsnbn for finally ending the debate for us.
According to maker @shelby_vanvalk, this epic Maleficent costume took over 400 hours to create and over half of it was sewn by hand. She’s clearly the Mistress of Evilly awesome skills.
It wouldn’t be a convention without a Spaceballs cosplay. This Lord Helmet was on point!
If you blinked you would’ve missed this Reverse Flash, classic The Flash and current The Flash (aka @mbp_cosplay) zooming around on the convention floor.
Nothing but respect for our favorite Captain Marvel of the day!
Aughra from the Dark Crystal by @canvascosplay looking youthful as always.
Disney cosplayers were out in full force but these ladies went the distance. Loving this Hercules, Hades and Megara group.
Our watch may have ended but Jon Snow (@apieceoftrash), Daenerys Targaryen (@marta.g) and Lianna Mormont from Game of Thrones were serving looks on Saturday.
There’s no botanical bombshell quite like Poison Ivy. Can’t help that we got caught staring at this version by @chris_k_cosplay.
@dan_cattell_art was there bringing the gaming world to life with his pixelated Storm Trooper
We need a little fairy pixie magic when it comes to this post-Endgame world. But we were happy to run into @sewcialist_revolution and @evilbcostumes as this stunning fairy and classic Captain America.
No one was more battle-ready than this fierce warrior.
We knew the quest for the Grail was alive and well at Keystone Comic when we ran into this Arthur Pendragon from Monty Python and the Holy Grail!
No one was more ready to revisit the Matrix franchise than them. We know they’re as excited as we are for the fourth installment!
@cobaltcosplay was ready to compete in the Keystone Champions of Cosplay in this epic League of Legends Leona costume.
@shawnshonuff was on fire as Ghost Rider this weekend and looking for the best cheesesteak in town. We hope it was a successful journey!
We ran all the possibilities before heading to Keystone Comic Con and luckily it was in the cards to run into this Doctor Strange by @kevindcosplay with the @phillyavengers.
There was no bad blood between this father/son duo. Glad we got to capture the moment before they zoomed out of here.
Bill and Ted having another adventure, just in time for their comeback.
There’s no joking around when dressing up as The Joker and @smylexjoker blew us away!
The time, effort and creativity of some of these cosplays are just incredible. Kingdom Hearts 3 Lea (Axel) cosplay and Keyblade by @divisionten.
The House of Hardcore wrestling events were a huge hit!
And then @Bratkeed joined the dark side.
