Don’t take your time in getting to Booth #1380, though – While we’ll have plenty of bookmarks, buttons are only guaranteed to the first 150 guests to visit us every day! (Pretty cool, huh?)
Costume SuperCenter was lucky enough to agree to terms with Sue Lee of Sue Lee SFX, who will be performing makeup demos on both Friday AND Saturday morning. Don’t miss your chance to watch Sue Lee, of SyFy’s Face-Off fame turn normal, unassuming citizens into an Alien (Friday) and Michael Jackson’s Thriller Werewolf (Saturday). In the afternoons on both days, she’ll be taking appointments from Con Attendees who want prosthetics from CSC’s extensive makeup inventory applied to either enhance their costume or create an entirely new look!
YES! Wouldn’t you figure that a costume retailer would host a costume contest?! There’s only one catch… YOU’RE the judges! Every day, Costume SuperCenter will be hosting a costume contest, in which pictures of you (in your costumes, of course) will be shared to our Facebook and Twitter pages! At the end of every day, the photos with the most likes and shares will be declared the winner of that day’s prize. The prizes will be good, we promise.
Are you an avid cosplayer, a beginner who wants to get better, or simply a fan who likes to admire the cosplay work of others? We’ll be hosting the best in the cosplay business at our booth all throughout the weekend. Models Lola Dreambomb, Kasumi Sun and Sarah Moon, among others, will be making themselves available for autographs, print sales and photo-ops, all while wearing Costume SuperCenter products!
The fun doesn’t have to end after you leave the Javits Center every day! Tir na nOg’s Times Square location will be hosting costume parties on behalf of Costume SuperCenter off site on Thursday, Friday AND Saturday night! Times and other details TBD. Stay tuned to see where you can find us!
