Summer… its that time of year when most people are planning vacations, beach days and any number of outdoor activities to take full advantage of the glorious warm weather. MOST people… the rest of us are eagerly awaiting one of the biggest weekends of our lives – San Diego Comic Con. The beauty of this weekend is – it doesn’t matter in which camp you fly your geek flag, there is something for everyone!
This year’s event will be bigger and better as the year before, with new shows scoring panels like Fear The Walking Dead and the new Heroes: Reborn reboot. Needless to say, that is just the tip of the iceberg! Panels for the upcoming Star Wars and Hunger Games films are happening early in the weekend, so if you have plans on attending those, make sure to hop in the line as soon as possible. Fans who have been eagerly awaiting the Force Awakens will be treated to some new footage from the film and “special guests” attending the panel.
As of this writing, only the Thursday and Friday schedules have been announced, but we already know that one of the bigger names in the comic-con world won’t be there this year. Marvel has decided to not attend in 2015. Why? Well, they don’t have anything new to share… So, will DC take this opportunity to really pull out all the stops when it comes to their Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice panel?
