The new movie, second in a planned trilogy, is scheduled to premiere May 7, 2010 and picks up where they first left off. The world now aware that Tony Stark is the armored superhero Iron Man. Because of this brilliant invention, Stark is being pressured by the government to develop his Iron Man technology for the military. Reluctant to surrender his invention to the government, Stark, his trusted assistant Pepper Potts and James “Rhodey” Rhodes form new alliances and face powerful enemies.
