One of my absolutely favorite comedians and actors of all time is Bill Murray. I’ve been a fan of his since his jaunt on the early Saturday Night Live days, which btw… the BEST SNL cast of all casts! No skits out do John Belushi ‘s Samurai Delicatessen or Eddie Murphy’s Buckwheat.

Even with these two being given props for their roles on SNL it doesn’t mean they’re the only ones from this group of cast members I loved to watch faithfully every Saturday night as a teen. There is Bill Murray; funny funny guy! Have always loved him and will always love him! His movies have made me laugh so much and so hard my stomach hurt! Of course one that sticks out in my head is Ghostbusters. This is a true American iconic movie. What better than a few geeky down on their luck guys, a damsel in distress and a kid all battling mean and nasty ghosts? Oh, and I forgot to mention the slime! They get slimed! It was great!

I can’t believe I forgot to mention one of my other favorite SNL cast members who had a significant role in this movie. What the heck is wrong with me?? Dan Akroyd is a very funny guy too! OMG…Coneheads… do I need to say more? NO! but I will. The Coneheads used to make me laugh just as hard! But this will be in my next post or two…”All About SNL”. I miss the old ones … a lot at times.
Ok, back to Ghostbusters. I’m not the only one in my house who loves these movies. Everyone in my house does. However, the one I’m thinking I’m most concerned with at the moment is the boyfriend, who happens to be in the dog house at the moment, but I won’t go there…that is for a whole different blog somewhere else! Even though he’s on my list…you know what list…I know that he will work really hard to get back into my good graces so I can plan a little fun for later.
I’m browsing through the costumes at CostumeSuperCenter and found one I’m sure he’ll like. I’m thinking a little ghost hunting expedition would be a perfect way to let him know he can come in from the dog house. Ok, maybe I should include the girl?
