    Used for 1920s flapper look

    This actually worked out perfectly as an accessory for my 1920s flapper costume I put together for New Year's. I love lace (and black hair accessories), and lace was popular in the 20s as well as 80s. I was really pleased that it is simply a strip of cloth, not attached to a headband. Rather than using it in a big bow, I wore it folded and tied around my forehead and on top of head for a 20s look. If it had been neon pink or green, I wouldn't have been able to make a substitute.
