Worst Customer Service Experience EVER
I ordered this costume, along with the wig, microphone, and glasses, for my son to wear for Halloween this year. I placed the order on October 2, and by Oct 26, I still did not have it. I attempted to contact customer service numerous times, and every time, I was told that they would just refund my money. I didn't want my money back!!! I wanted the costume and accessories!! My son had to miss out on several Halloween events that his friends and siblings went to, because he did not have his costume a week before Halloween, when I had ordered it almost a month early!!! Every time I called customer service, I would sit on hold for no less than 20-30 minutes before anyone would even answer the line. I tried emailing. No reply. I tried Twitter. No reply. I sent a PM on FB and got a response pretty quickly, but was immediately told that my issue would have to be forwarded on to someone else, because the person who was answering PM's on their FB page was more of a "marketing" person, -and couldn't do anything about a customer service issue. I was also told that "Even if we shipped your order out today (Monday, October 24), there's no way you will receive it by Friday (October 28)." What?? Why not?? After arguing with you all for 3 weeks on this issue, you can't overnight this order to me?? Or even 2nd day shipping??? Completely unacceptable!! I ended up canceling the whole order and requesting a refund. The same day (Wed, October 26), I placed the same order with Costume Discounters, and not only did they ship and deliver my order in 2 business days, but they didn't charge extra for the 2 day shipping, and the costume was cheaper on their website!! So, I would highly reccomend Costume Discounters to anyone who is reading this review! And please, don't bother sending me some stupid coupon or offering me some lame discount to try and make up for the horrible experience I had. I will NEVER use this website for anything ever again!!!
