STOP BEING SOOOO POLITICALLY CORRECT AND BE A HUMAN BEING
Material isn't the greatest, but it worked for a photoshoot. To the person that stated this outfit is offensive:
I get where you are coming from in terms of Halloween. It's pretty annoying to target only "sexy". Girls shouldn't only wear sexy because it makes our gender look stupid. However, sometimes people like to dress up as Native Americans to pay homage to them and their culture (such as for a photoshoot). Not everything has to be twisted into negativity. We need to stop trying to be so POLITICALLY CORRECT all of the time. When people begin to think that wearing native american outfits or costumes is offensive, we have LOST OUR MINDS. Stop trying to be so politically correct. Some people see this as paying homage and trying to recreate a beautiful culture. Don't be ridiculous.
Material is horrible and looks nothing like the photo what so ever !! Dont buy its a waste of money
fit to small did not look like the picture did not like the material. return it back
This is just disrespectful.
Come on, guys. We can do better than this. There are so many creative, original, and fun options for costumes when it comes to dressing up for Halloween. But sexualizing and costuming an entire culture is taking things way too far. Please be respectful and considerate of the Native American culture. They have already faced (and still do face) a ton of injustice and discrimination, as it were. Let's eliminate this culture-costuming once and for all.
American Indian costumes like this one aren't actually paying homage to American Indian peoples and populations, instead they perpetuate offensive, cultural stereotypes. American Indians have faced and continue to face systemic discrimination and marginalization in the United States and costumes like this one harmfully mock these populations while ignoring their histories.
This Halloween, let's pledge to not wear offensive, appropriative costumes like this one. Afterall, Halloween is all about having fun and enjoying ourselves-but it doesn't have to be at the expense of cultures, histories and entire traditions.
