In addition to Halloween, our team has been counting down until New York Comic Con 2018. The industry came together last weekend and pulled out all the stops. As seasoned NYCC veterans, we were excited to see what the 2018 show had to offer.
Although another New York Comic Con has come and gone, our team found it to be the best, and busiest, yet! It was by all measures an amazing show. The guest list was star-studded. The booths were bigger than ever. The panels were packed with fans. We got to see old friends. And the cosplayers brought their A-game.
Our favorite thing to do at NYCC is to hang out in the Crystal Palace of the Javits Center. It’s the best place to scope out cosplayers. This year was no different! We met cosplayers from all over the world, spanning from the Philippines to Alaska. Some had their costumes done months in advance while others were working down to the wire.
The team hit the show floor to find some of the best cosplays of the year. While we wish we were able to snap more awesome pics of these awesome builds, there were just too many cosplayers to choose from. Here’s a look at some of our favorite costumes from Friday and Saturday of comic con.
There maybe some crossover in our categories- don’t get mad at us. We tried to link to everyone, but if we missed you please let us know.
