It is finally heating up outside and it is starting to look a lot like summer time. So get ready to fill your calendars with fun things to do — like the awesome camp-themed SeriousFun Messtival event making a colorful splash on June 25.
Splattering messy, camp-inspired fun in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park from 9am – 3pm. SeriousFun Messtival will benefit SeriousFun Children’s Network, the global community of camps and programs, founded by actor and philanthropist Paul Newman, that provides the life-changing experience of camp to children with serious illnesses.
The inaugural SeriousFun Messtival event, taking place in New York’s iconic Prospect Park in Brooklyn, will feature Playing up the messy theme, the organization is encouraging people everywhere to participate in the #SeriousFunMesstival photo and video challenge via social media.
The SeriousFun Messtival is a chance for families and millennials to give kids with serious illness the fun they deserve by experiencing their own seriously fun, messy camp day. give kids with serious illnesses an opportunity to have the mess of fun that they deserve.
The day is set to be filled with loads of epic camp-inspired activities like a 100-foot zip line, human tie-dye machine, paint archery, dunk tank and a SeriousFun Run. Plus, you’ll get to put on seriously fun costumes, courtesy of Costume SuperCenter at the photo booth!
